Our Parent Teacher Association was started at MCA for parents to have an active role during the academic year. The PTA meets several times a year as a whole and subcommittees may meet more often as an event approaches. The PTA serves in four main components; Fundraisers, Outreach, Building and Grounds and Staff Appreciation. Our fundraiers must have 2 main components to them, they must be fun and to have a positive impact on the community. Our outreach is both local and world based. The MCA students play an important role in these events. The Building and Grounds include the basic maintanence of the classrooms /office space and the playgounds/ garden. Staff Appreciation is usually at the end of the year with the PTA spereheading the gift ideas that are given from the children and families of MCA.
