Literacy week dates are from February 1 through the 4th.

Our school theme for the week will be friendship. Every teacher will have a different author of focus. Remember Monday is Character Dress Up day. You need to bring the book that your character is from. We will be reading these books throughout the week and will return them all by Thursday. Tuesday is what we will call our 100th day of school. Please bring in your 100 pennies for Haiti. For details, please see Jill or your class teacher. Wednesday Pre-K 4's will be rotating classrooms with the 4's, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten to learn about different authors. Some classes are doing a craft, an activity or music and movement. On Thursday, there will be a book walk. Please bring a new book for the book walk. Your child will be bringing home a new book that they won at the book walk. Let's enjoy a fun week of reading and log the reading time with our children!
